2) Crew Call: "First Draft"
The HHDS is looking for a stage manager, assistant director, and props person to work on "First Draft", one of our U of T Drama Festival submissions. These positions will play a substantial role in the actual run of the play. Any knowledge of tech/lighting would be helpful but not required. Please contact director Sarah Warren <everyonepickedthenameiwanted
3) Crew Call: "The Chekhov Vaudevilles"
We're looking for a dedicated stage manager and costume designer to work with professional director Zed Pitkin for our production of "Chekhov Vaudevilles." Previous experience is preferable but not required. This is a great opportunity to gain crew experience while learning from professionals in various aspects of theatre. Please e-mail Zed at <mukidux@sympatico.ca> if you're interested in either of these positions.
4) Free movie passes -- Weds., Nov. 29, 7pm
The HHDS has received an open invitation to a free screening of a movie called "Freedom Writers" on Wednesday, November 29th at 7pm at the Cumberland theatre. The movie stars Hilary Swank and is about a teacher who inspires a group of inner-city youth to pursue education instead of violence. The passes that are available are double passes (i.e. two guests per); they are free and anyone can attend. Send an email by this Sunday to harthouse.drama@utoronto.ca (please send us a new message, instead of clicking "reply" to this one) so we can put our request in to the Paramount representative, and arrange for pickup.
